At PMZ Home Loans, respecting the privacy and security of your personal information is important to us.  We are sensitive to privacy issues concerning our clients and believe it is important that you understand our privacy policies and what they mean to you.

The PMZ Real Estate family of companies work together to help you achieve your financial goals.  Our corporate family offers a wide variety of products and services that can help you manage your finances. 

 

PMZ Real Estate is a real estate services company that has relationships with affiliates that provide a wide range of products and services, such as mortgage loans, insurance and natural hazard disclosure reports. These companies, which share common ownership, include PMZ Insurance Services, which operates as an Associate Agent for Kelly M. Moody Insurance Agency through Nationwide Insurance, PMZ Home Loans, and Valley NHD (“we”, “our”, “us” or “affiliates”).

 

We will tell you the sources of information we collect about you.  We will tell you what measures we take to secure that information. We will tell you what information we share about you with other entities.

We first define some terms.

Nonpublic personal information means information about you that we collect in connection with providing a financial product or service to you.  Nonpublic personal information does not include information that is available from public sources, such as telephone directories or government records.  Hereafter, we will use the term “information” to mean nonpublic personal information as defined in this section.

An affiliate is a company we own or control, a company that owns or controls us, or a company that is owned or controlled by the same company that owns or controls us.  Ownership does not mean complete ownership, but means owning enough to have control.

A nonaffiliated third party is a company (person or entity) that is not an affiliate of ours.  This is also known as nonaffiliated third party, or simply, an “other party.”

 

THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT

To serve you better and manage our business, it is important that we collect and maintain accurate personal information about you.   We obtain this information from applications and other forms you submit to us, from your dealings with us and others, from consumer reporting agencies, and from other sources, such as our web sites.  For example:

 

·         We may obtain information such as your name, address, date of birth, income, assets, and liabilities from applications and other forms you submit to us.

 

·         We may obtain information such as loan balances, account balances, payment history, and your use of your loan from your transactions and other dealings with us and others.

 

 

·         We may obtain information such as the balances of your loans and credit cards with other lenders and your payment history with others from consumer reporting agencies.

 

·         We may obtain information such as your internet service provider, your domain name, your computer’s operating system and web browser, your web site product and service preferences from your visits to our web sites.

 

THE CONFIDENTIALITY, SECURITY, AND INTEGRITY OF YOUR INFORMATION

We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information about you.  Access to such information is restricted to individuals who need it in order to service your loan or provide products and services to you, and who are trained in the proper handling of such information.

 

There are, however, circumstances in which we may share the information we collect about you, as described in the Information We Collect section, with other companies in order to provide you with access to products and services, as detailed below.  We require these companies to adhere to our privacy standards and to use this information only for the limited purpose for which it was shared.  We do not allow them to disclose it to others without our prior approval.

 

YOUR INFORMATION AND OUR AFFILIATES

In order to provide you with access to these products and services, we may share the information we collect about you, as described in the Information We Collect section, with other members of our corporate family.  These companies include financial service providers that offer mortgages and other lending services, insurance providers, and providers of natural hazard disclosure reports.

 

In order to evaluate your needs and to introduce you to these additional services, we may share among our family of companies identification information about you, such as your name, address and telephone number, as well as information about your transactions, loan history or other experience with us.

 

SHARING YOUR INFORMATION WITH NON-AFFILIATED THIRD PARTIES FOR MARKETING PURPOSES

We will not disclose information about you to anyone except as disclosed in this policy or as required or permitted by applicable law.

We do not disclose information about former clients, except as permitted by law.
